SeaStar Solutions Steering Helm Xtreme Designed in conjunction with the XTREME steering cable the new XTREME steering helm features a highly efficient custom gear train with an improved No FeedBack NFB clutch function that minimises the affects of engine torque Requiring only five turns lock to lock the new NFB clutch design allows for smoother clutch release which results in seamless steering in both directions at all engine speeds Using the same mounting pattern and bracket location as current SeaStar Solutions steering systems the XTREME helm has been designed with the smallest available footprint making it ideal for tight helm stations such as centre consoles Where required the SeaStar Solutions Sport and Sport Plus tilt mechanisms can be utilised with the XTREME tilt helm Utilising the innovative dual Quick Connect feature makes attaching the steering cable and spent travel tube to the back of the helm a fast and simple operation Features Designed to deliver the most efficient mechanical steering possible Least effort least lost motion smooth release of NFB clutch with the best holding power Only five turns lock to lock Quick Connect feature on both cable and spent travel tube side No tools required to snap steering cable or spent travel tube in place Easy system installation single steering cable to route with standard 200mm bend radius for the cable No bleeding of hydraulic system or electrical wiring required Fits standard SeaStar Solutions dash cut out with standard Safe T and 4 2 bracket Helm is available to suit SH91800 SH91900 tilt mechanism Gear train allows smallest foot print with the lowest effort available in a mechanical helm 280940 NFB helm supplied complete with 280948 black bezel
