Life Cell – Trawlerman
A device designed to reduce the amount of lives lost at sea by ensuring all safety equipment is contained in one place when abandonment is the only option.
Life Cell is made from closed cell PU foam and constructed from UV resistant flame retardant polyethylene (PE). They are supplied with a PE mount bracket. The Life Cell is designed to automatically float from the bracket in the event of being submerged. Unlike grab bags, Life Cells float acting as a secure hand hold keeping all crew together and as stable platforms to assist in the deployment of flares and other safety equipment.
Life Cell is a floatation device that stores all your essential safety gear including;

226462 Stainless steel bulkhead mount bracket. An optional extra, which can be screwed onto flat surfaces as an alternative to the standard black mounting bracket.
226464/66 Stainless steel rail mount bracket. For use on vertical or horizontal boat rails. Made from 316 grade stainless steel.

Designed for larger boats or for commercial application. This Life Cell is extremely buoyant and has plenty of room to store all your essential safety equipment including EPIRB in the internal compartment or the EPIRB can also be mounted externally if required.
An external recess will also hold your EPIRB upright in the event that you need to activate once in the water. Standard Mounting bracket is also included but safety equipment can be purchased separately.
