Majoni Fenders are top quality, heavy duty inflatable fenders, made in Holland to the highest European standards.
Manufactured from UV resistant white PVC, they feature a reinforced star pattern head in Black, in the very classic European style. Made to commercial quality, these fenders will suit a large range of vessels, from small runabouts, through to large yachts and cruisers. These Fenders are supplied deflated, but are easily infalted with an air compressor – Simply place the compressor over the one-way valve. These fenders can also be inflated with a bicycle pump in the same way.
When inflating, please ensure that the fender is not rock hard, but has some softness. No more than 2psi should be necessary. Use, Care and MaintenanceFenders are designed to protect your boat from scuffs, knocks and the general wear and tear of being moored. They are placed on the spots where the boat can contact another boat or dock by movement. Well placed fenders will protect your boat from damage. The size and amount of fenders will depend on the size and shape of your boat. To protect both sides, an average of 6 fenders will be needed. Majoni fenders require minimal maintenance. Wash them with clean water and if dirty, with water and soap. With proper care, a Majoni fender will protect your boat for more than fourty years.
All Fenders are supplied deflated.
Inflation
The best way to inflate a Fender is to push air pressure from a compressor with a flat head against the valve.
It is also possible to inflate the Fender with a bicycle pump with the special adaptor (SP379).
The best inflation pressure is 0.2 bar. (2.9 psi). You should be able to press the body of the Fender easily with your flat hand.
Do not use a needle (soccer ball) type inflation piece, as the pin can damage the valve.
The correct piece to use is an air gun with tapered end that fits into the end of the valve. Be careful not to over inflate.
