BayStar Plus outboard hydraulic steering has been developed by Seastar Solutions to suit most single outboard driven vessels up to 150HP. For applications that exceed BayStar’s HP rating please purchase one of our SeaStar products.

2 Check cylinder dimensions Front Mount Cylinder
- This compact unit fits narrow splashwells with only 534mm width required
- The steering cylinder is protected in the splashwell
- One common cylinder fits most outboards to 150HP
- Fits to outboard tilt tube
3 Splashwell
- Is there enough room in the splashwell for full engine tilt Check your dimensions (A, B & C) and ensure that they are the same or more than what is listed Supplied in kit form with all the components required to complete your installation.

| Notes 1. Requires spacer kit 293690 (HO5090). 2. Engine clamp brackets must be cut or ground, and the engine through bolted onto the transom, or interference will occur, restricting engine trim and tilt. 3. Steering hook Yamaha Part #63D-48511-00-4D required. 4. Cylinder 291071 may be used in these applications. The pivot plate will need to be flipped before installation. 5. Johnson 115HP 2-stroke engines require the pivot plate to be flipped. See Note 4. * Not suitable for 115-140HP. Suzuki motors manufactured in 1996 only N.B.
