Description

BayStar inboard steering system with tilt helm

BayStar Plus inboard hydraulic steering has been developed by Teleflex Marine for use in relatively low torque applications typically low speed displacement vessels. For applications that exceed BayStar Plus s torque rating please purchase one of our SeaStar products.

Features:

• Anodised alloy cylinder and mount

• Compact helm

• 4.6 turns lock to lock

• Cylinder torque 52kg/m (4514in/lb)

• 15.9cm (6.25″) stroke

• Balanced cylinder

• Adjustable O-ring sealed ports

• 1 x BayStar™ helm pump standard 291490 or tilt helm 291492

• 1 x BayStar™ inboard cylinder 291077

• 15m 292997 semi rigid nylon hose kit

• 4 x 293610 nut and olive kit

I recently purchased some parts for my boat from Boat Hut. I called on 2 occasions but the phone rang out. It was 4.50pm and I thought "well they've gone home for the day. No problem I will try tomorrow". However the salesman called me back at 5.00pm. We discussed what I needed and he gave me good advice and information on different brands. I found it very helpful and great communication skills - especially to call back after their closing time. The parts arrived approximately 3 days later. I was able to install them that day. I was very happy with their service, knowledge and good price. I will use them again.
