An excellent practical double folding design with hidden stainless steel hinges engineered to provide a space saving alternative to a full size table This table has two hinged table leaves which double its size when fully extended and exposes the embedded traditional compass rose Additionally the teak slats are laid to provide a uniform appearance when either wing is folded or extended For additional support and rigidity two extendible supports can be deployed after the table has been opened to provide extra stability The total thickness of the top is 20mm and is available in two popular sizes Relevant Information Introducing a large range of beautifully crafted classically designed quality teak table tops in a large range of sizes and shapes with traditional pattern inlays Only the highest quality timber featuring tight grain patterns are selected for use During construction each slat is individually selected when creating the table ensuring that both the colour and the finished look maintain consistency The table top is constructed around a twice epoxy treated 12 or 16mm thick plywood core with 4mm thick teak slats applied to the plywood surface Finally for a traditional looking finish quality black caulking compound is used between each slat resulting in a total table top thickness of either 16 or 20mm excluding raised edges The table is left bare and can be used as is oiled or varnished Teak used throughout the range is sourced solely from fully grown trees taken from large plantations which are carefully managed by Indonesia s own forestry department The manufacturers also hold an FSC Chain of Custody environmental certificate making them one of very few companies in the marine industry able to deliver FSC certified products All tables are supplied in heavy duty cardboard boxes for transport and feature product picture dimensions and barcode
