What is the difference between Aqua Kem Sachets and Aqua Kem Green Sachets?
Aqua Kem Green Sachets are the green version of the Aqua Kem Sachets. They are biodegradable and therefore safe to disposal in the septic tank. Aqua Kem Green Sachets are ideal for dedicated campers who are looking for convenient and responsible products.
What is the difference between your maintenance products and normal household products / non-Thetford products?
Thetford toilets are made out of plastic and have several parts (seals, foams) which need special products to maintain. Our products are specially developed to guarantee safe cleaning of these specific parts and trouble-free and comfortable use of your portable or Cassette toilet for a long lifetime. Household cleaners may cause permanent damage to the seals and other toilet components.
What is the difference between Aqua Kem Blue and Aqua Kem Green?
Aqua Kem Green is a toilet fluid with biological action, is environmental conscious, can be emptied in a septic tank (Test ISO 11734). Aqua Kem Green lasts appr. 4 days with average use and only freezes below -20 degrees Celsius. Aqua Kem Blue is our best selling and known product and has a more powerful performance, therefore it lasts 4 to 5 days with average use. It freezes below -5 degrees Celsius. Next to that also the perfume varies, AKB is pine scented and AKG citrus.
Why should I use Aqua Rinse Plus?
Thetford Aqua Rinse Plus combines performance with freshness. It enables a more effective flush and keeps the flush water clean. The intense lavender fragrance leaves a nice smell in the toilet and Aqua Rinse Plus leaves hygienic protective layer in the toilet bowl.
Deposits in the rinse water?
No problem! For a fresh and clean start and optimal performance of Aqua Rinse Plus, clean your flush-water tank before the first use by following these instructions. WHAT NEEDED: Household bleach + bucket/watering can
HOW:
1.Prepare a solution using 100ml household bleach per 10L of flush-water tank capacity. Prepare as much solution as needed to completely fill your flush-water tank. 2.Fill the flush-water tank completely with the prepared solution. 3.Leave it in for 24 hours. 4.Drain the flush-water tank by using the drain tube or flushing system. 5.Then fill the flush-water tank completely with fresh water and leave it in for 5 minutes. 6.Drain the flush-water tank again. 7.Repeat step 5+6 to make sure no bleach is left behind. Note: •Do not use together with other products. •Exceeding the stated dose or recommended duration could damage your Thetford toilet
Good maintenace prolongs life expectancy
To reduce the risk of damage, premature wear and problems with emptying the waste-holding tank, we recommend using Thetford Toilet Care products. The toilet additives prevent unpleasant smells, suppress gas formation and keep the inside of the waste-holding tank clean. Use your mobile toilet in combination with these additives. They will increase the level of comfort and ease of use, because the toilet will only have to be emptied once every four days. One less thing to worry about.
