Description
VETUS Flexible Couplings – Combiflex with 25mm and 30mm Shaft
The Combiflex coupling has been designed to ensure optimum damping of torsional vibrations, created by cycle irregularities especially at low engine revolutions.
It is ecured against shearing off, both axially and radially, thus ensuring safe transmission under all circumstances.
Provides excellent alignment of the propeller shaft.
Aligning the engine and propeller shaft can be a rather time consuming affair, however the Combiflex will remain perfectly centred onto the gearbox flange, even if the shaft has a misalignment of 2º.
The parallel clamping hub ensures easy installation and probably even more importantly, easy dismantling of the shaft assembly.
Available for shafts of Ø 25 or 30 mm. Comes with a 4” flange to fit most common gearbox models.
