You have 30 days from delivery to contact Boat Hut to advise of any issues with your order. If we have not heard from you within 30 days of delivery, Boat Hut shall accept that the products have been accepted by you.
Boat Hut will accept product returns and provide you with a replacement for the product (where available) or a credit voucher, or refund or repair if the product is delivered faulty or not merchantable quality, or if the product is not fit for its intended use, or if the product does not match the description on the web site. Should you wish to return a product please email Boat Hut your name, address, contact phone number, invoice number, photos and return reason to sales@boathut.com.au .
We may have to contact our supplier or transport company and then we will notify you of a return procedure if warrantable.
Boat Hut advises and recommends that you obtain advice from relevant qualified experts before attempting any DIY works and will not accept any return claims from incorrectly installed or misdiagnosis on products.
Some products can not be returned once the product bag/box has been opened or installed. Please check the item carefully before opening for any visible damage.
Subject to applicable laws, Boat Hut does not accept any liability (including, without limitation, liability in negligence) for any expenses, losses, damages, costs, accidents, injuries, deaths, fines, legal proceedings, suits, or any other law violations you suffered, incurred or made against you as a direct or indirect result of your access and use of the website and its contents.
Consumer guarantees under the Australian consumer laws are not limited by a time period and can vary from product to product depending on factors such as the nature of goods, price and statements made on packaging. We may need to carry out an assessment of your product should it need a repair, replacement or if a refund is appropriate. Some products may need to then be sent to the manufacturer for their assessment for repair, replace or refund. In some cases you may have to liaise directly with the manufacturer or repair agent to answer questions regarding the product returned. In some cases a refund, replacement or repair may not be offered for such reasons as – you modified the product, misuse of a product, or you just change your mind.
Other products that are tailor-made or custom orders are excluded under our returns policy unless they are faulty.
Boat Hut will accept a change of mind return request if the product is still in new condition and can be sold as new to another customer. If you change your mind about your purchase please contact Boat Hut to discuss the process within 30 days of purchase. If approved you will be refunded the value of the goods only, Boat Hut will not refund any postage costs. Any return postage will be at your expense. Exclusions apply, eg special order, tailor made products, swimwear and other products that cant be resold as new to another cusotmer.
