Description
New Style Rule Bilge Pump 360 GPH 12 Volt Model 24DA
Designed for use as a bilge or bait pump on smaller craft, this totally submersible pump features a water-cooled, ignition and TCO protected motor, stainless steel shaft, and a snap-on strainer base. Its extremely efficient design draws low current while delivering high capacity output, all within a very compact housing to fit into the smallest available spaces.
Note: This is a NON-automatic pump and requires a Rule float switch to operate automatically.
Please note – using the included check valve will reduce the output flow of the pump.

Boat Hut Insight
When choosing a pump for your smaller craft, remember that compact size often means easier installation but can also mean a tighter fit for maintenance access. This pump’s threaded discharge port and removable check valve are great for servicing, but make sure you have enough clearance around the pump once installed. Also, if you’re the kind of skipper who likes to tinker, the low amp draw means you can run this pump longer without worrying about draining your battery—just don’t forget to pair it with a reliable float switch, or you might end up doing some unexpected swimming lessons!
Tip: Always test your bilge pump system with the float switch installed before heading out, and periodically check the check valve for blockages or wear to maintain optimal flow.
